May is Speech and Hearing Awareness Month!
The Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA) has created a video entitled Living with Hearing Loss to help promote, and support the profession of audiology, and hearing healthcare in Canada.
Our ability to communicate effectively with family members, friends and the general public is something we often take for granted. An inability to communicate can have a debilitating effect on our quality of life – whether it affects something as small as hearing birds chirping during a stroll through the park, to something as meaningful as communicating with your family and friends.
CAA would like to thank Clayton Fisher, CAA committee volunteer for his effort in creating the video.
