Hearing Instrument Dispenser
Jessica Nixon is a Hearing Instrument Dispenser (HID) who is in good standing with the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario (AHIP). She just recently graduated with distinction from the Hearing Instrument Specialist Program at Conestoga College in Kitchener, ON in 2017. She is looking forward to writing her Ontario Licensing exam, and becoming a fully certified Hearing Instrument Specialist this coming winter.
Jessica became interested in the field of hearing health care after she was in a head on collision in 2013. After going through her own process of hearing assessments and audiological exams, she was inspired to start a career in hearing health care. After shadowing an Audiologist in Toronto, Jessica new this was the right career for her.
Jessica is certified in Cerumen (wax) management, and is passionate about helping others make hearing healthcare decisions, that will improve their quality of life. She strives to stay up to date with the latest hearing instrument methodologies and technologies to ensure top of the line deliverance of knowledge and services.
Jessica will soon be a service provider for Veteran’s Affairs Canada (VAC), The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Assistive Devices Program of Ontario (ADP), this coming winter.
